We do this work as a specialism, not an afterthought. Each door is hung to consistent reveals, latches set so the door pulls itself shut, and hinges adjusted so the door sits true in the frame whether the wall does or not.
On architrave and skirting we cut tight mitres, scribe internal corners by hand for a flat joint, and pin everything off before caulking the wall line. Profiles can match an existing period property or be drawn fresh for a modern build. Where original Jersey skirting is being restored, we'll splice in new sections to match the moulding rather than rip the whole run out.
External doors and frames are weather-sealed properly, with the threshold bedded, the cill dressed, and the rebate set for the lock case before the door is hung. We can supply oak, hardwood, engineered, or pre-finished factory doors depending on budget and use.
