A fitted kitchen has to do everything: cook, store, host, and look right doing it. Crown Carpentry designs and builds bespoke kitchens for homes across Jersey, working in solid timber and high-grade carcasses to deliver a kitchen that fits the room, the way you cook, and the way you live.
We start with a free in-home visit. We measure properly, talk through how you use the space, and listen to the practical bits that matter — where the bin goes, which side the fridge opens, whether the larder needs a worktop you can knead on. From there we draw the kitchen, agree the materials, and quote a clear, fixed price.
The carcasses, doors and drawer fronts are built in our Jersey workshop. We use solid timber or high-density MDF for stability, soft-close hardware throughout, and finishes — paint, stain, veneer — that hold up to a busy family kitchen. We coordinate with your worktop supplier, electrician and plumber so the install runs in the right order without delays.
On site, we strip out the old kitchen carefully, fit the new units to within a hair, scribe to walls that are never quite straight, and trim everything in so the finished kitchen looks like it grew out of the room. The handover includes a snag walk, the care instructions, and a quiet workshop you can call any time something needs a second look.
Whether it's a sleek shaker in a granite cottage, a handleless island in a new build, or a Plain English-style range in a period home, every kitchen is one-off. No flatpack, no off-the-shelf carcasses, and no compromise on the joints you don't see.
